Ruby Rosenberg

I work to create the change I want to see in the world through my writing and films.
 

Currently seeking a creative and collaborative environment where I can best contribute my skills and experience. I specialize in live-action production and project management as well as creative development for both live-action and animated productions. Creativity and making positive impact are my passions. They push me to reach farther and think outside the box for my projects while my communication skills and work ethic help me get them done.

I started making films as a high school student in Oakland, CA, where I produced news stories and short narratives on topics I was passionate about. In 2015, my feminism themed short "We Will Persist" won Honorable Mention at the White House Student Film Festival, and since then I haven't stopped believing in the power I have to create art that moves people.

 

After graduating from Boston University with honors, I worked as an intern and later as a project manager for Relay Video in Shanghai, China. Now I write interactive stories on the mobile game Whispers: Interactive Stories You Love.

Media influences culture by introducing audiences to new perspectives. My professional goal is to make stories that are representative of the world we live in to create better understanding between one another. In this pursuit, I have made scripts and films that discuss mental illness, racism, feminism, and other causes in order to share information, dispel falsehoods, and inspire action.
