Deeqo (2017)

Deeqo follows the story of Deeqo Jibril— a Somali refugee, a Muslim, and a Roxbury resident—as she launches her campaign for Boston City Council in response to President Trump’s travel ban.
We wanted to make a film that could inspire others to run for office and show that there is still hope in politics despite what is happening at the federal level.
I worked on the film as a camera operator and video editor.

A to Z Fund Mini Grants (2017)

This short documentary follows an Oakland pre-school classroom, and the benefits they've recieved from attaining the Oakland Unified School District A to Z Fund Mini-Grant.

We Will Persist (2015)
A feminist short film aimed to communicate the many features of gender inequality in the United States.
